How much heating oil is in my tank?
Most fuel tanks have a gauge that will help estimate the amount of fuel left in your tank. The chart below will help in determining approximately how much fuel is left in your tank. Once you figure out how much oil you have, place your order.
|Gauge Reading||Approximate Gallons Remaining|
|275 Gallon Tank||330 Gallon Tank|
My oil gauge is broken. How do I figure out how much fuel oil to order?
You can get a accurate reading of your heating oil level by measuring the depth of the oil in your tank. This requires a a long, clean measuring stick or dowel. Lower the stick into your tank until ittouches the bottom. Remove the stick from the tank and note how many inches up the stick the oil reached. Then use the chart below to convert inches into gallons. NOTE: The chart below is only an estimate of the amount of gallons in your oil tank.
Once you know how much fuel you have, check out the price and place an order.

If there is a price increase before I receive my delivery, do I pay the higher price?
